Motorsport is one of Redstrike’s key sectors of operation; We are currently engaged across several international projects within the motorsports industry. Our team consists of individuals with a wealth of experience in this area who offer experience working within Formula 1, Formula E, Silverstone, Governments and more. Therefore, the company is privileged to offer a range of services starting at consultancy all the way up to complete project management and headhunting.
Working closely with governing bodies and rightsholders Redstrike has great experience in the delivery of blue-chip sports and entertainment events. Yet while these traditional sports events that occur on a seasonal/annual/biennial/quadrennial basis keep growing, Redstrike is also involved in the formation of new tournaments, event formats and even new sports.
Naturally, sponsorship is a key part of any event and Redstrike has a vast network from which we can source sponsors and create engaging activations that drive ROI for brands.
Redstrike are excited to be the race promotor for the Kyalami leg of the 2019 Intercontinental GT powered by Pirelli.
Ex-Formula 1 venue Kyalami will join the Intercontinental GT Challenge in November 2019 with the revival of the South African track’s historic nine-hour sportscar fixture. The event will put Africa on the IGTC calendar for the first time, joining the Spa 24 Hours, the Bathurst 12 Hours, the Suzuka 10 Hours and the California 8 Hours at Laguna Seca.
The Kyalami 9 Hours, which was an important sportscar fixture in the 1960s, ’70s and ’80s, will be the IGTS finale on November 3, with the current curtain-closer at Laguna moving to either March or April.
